Nestled in a small valley lies the 1895 Garnet Ghost Town, once a thriving gold mining community, now just a wonderful place to go and visit.  It has 22 buildings to look at and go inside, 3 main buildings that have artifacts, and the Garnet Preservation Association is a non-profit group, helping with interpretation and preservation.  Our goal is to keep Garnet alive and open to the public, to have Style_School children come and learn, to share the history of our country as it was growing, to educate, and have each individual experience what it was like in 1895.
